Web Purchase Terms
Last updated: September 24, 2026
These terms apply when you buy a Sharecam event package on our website, sharecam.app. They add to our Terms of Service, which cover the use of Sharecam itself; for a web purchase, these terms apply where the two differ. Packages bought in the Sharecam iPhone app are sold by Apple under the App Store terms and are not covered by this page.
1. Who sells, and who provides the service
- The seller. Web purchases are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd. (UK) and Paddle.com Inc. (US), our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle runs the checkout, processes your payment, issues the receipt and invoice and charges any sales tax or VAT that applies, under Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never see or store your card details.
- The service. The event album you pay for is provided by us. Sharecam is operated by Boz Apps. Contact: [email protected]. Full contact details are on our imprint page.
2. What you buy
- A package is a one-time purchase for one event. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- The package sets that event's limits (guests, photos, videos, storage window and included features) as listed in our pricing and shown again before you pay.
- Prices are in US dollars: the same list price as the App Store in the US. In the Sharecam iPhone app, Apple charges in your local currency; on the web, Paddle may show the price in your local currency and adds any tax that applies where you live before you pay.
- Where a photographer package includes face matching, it works only where face matching is available (not in Illinois, Texas or Washington, in China, Russia or Vietnam, or where we can't confirm the location) and only after the host accepts the host terms. The face-matching add-on on its own is sold only in the iPhone app.
3. Your account
- To buy on the web you need a Sharecam account with a sign-in: email and password, Google, or Apple where offered. A guest or anonymous session can't buy.
- Sign in with the same account you use in the Sharecam app and you see the same events in both places. A package belongs to its event, not to a device.
- You are responsible for purchases made from your account.
4. Upgrades
- You can move an event to a bigger package at any time. An upgrade charges the full price of the new package; there are no difference prices, and only packages above the event's current one are offered.
- An event's name and date can't be changed once it has a paid package, so check them before you pay.
5. No discount codes
Web purchases don't take discount or coupon codes. If a payment arrives with a discount applied, the package is not applied to the event and the payment is refunded.
6. When the package applies
- After Paddle confirms your payment, our servers apply the package to your event, usually within minutes. It then shows on the web and in the Sharecam app.
- If it hasn't appeared, write to us with the event code and the Paddle order number from your receipt email.
- If the event already has the same or a bigger package when your payment arrives (for example because you also paid in the app, or paid twice), the package is not applied again and we refund the extra payment. If a payment can't be applied for any other reason, we refund it.
7. Refunds and chargebacks
- Refunds of web purchases follow our Refund Policy, which also explains what happens to an event after a refund or a chargeback. Nothing is deleted early because of a refund.
- Purchases made in the App Store are refunded by Apple under the App Store terms.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and a change applies only to purchases made after that date.
